The Black-and-tawny Seedeater belongs in northeastern Santa Cruz and across the border in Brazil. Sightings have been made along the mission circuit from San Miguel to Concepción, and northeast from there along the route to Noel Kempff National Park. If you’re visiting recommended hotspots Caparú Biological Station or Noel Kempff Mercado National Park, Flor de Oro, it is possible you will see it there.
